  I like the Wallaceburg store. It is a bit small but they pack a lot of goods into it and the staff is very cordial and helpful. Yesterday I found an item there which the Sarnia store was out of a few days ago. That is not to deminish Sarnia; it's just supply and demand.

  I didn't get their names but they were the 2nd and 3rd pictures above the door going into the shop. They saved my ass a bunch of money and the headache of waiting around for my hubby to drive out to bring me my wallet. Typically in my experience, mechanics are all about money but these guys just wanted to help and that rare! The 5 stars aren't for canadian tire. They're for the 2 guys working in the shop October 24th 2017 around 1pm. I wish we had nice people like that in Windsor.

  I'm from windsor and travel to Sarnia for work. Yesterday I went through walaceburg on my way & just as I got to the turn to get on hwy 40 I got a flat tire. I pulled out my spare & all the stuff that goes with it only to find out I needed a special spline thingy to take the nuts off of my tire so I figured I would call a tire guy to come help but then realized I forgot my wallet so i had no way to pay for anything. I called home & told my hubby that unfortunately he was going to have to drive 2 hours to come help me. Someone must have been watching over me because Somehow i was super lucky & a person i knew from windsor was on his way back from Sarnia passing by and recognized my car & pulled over. He gave me a ride to canadian tire & we went to ask the mechanicsif they had the tool I needed.

  There was 2 guys and a girl behind the counter. They didnt have the tool I needed in the shop or available in store to buy (which wouĺdnt have mattered anyway-no wallet) but the one mechanic had the tool at home. They allowed him to leave and go get it and he let me borrow it and another size and the part that makes it fit in my tool to turn the nuts without coming along to make sure he got them back. I was told while he was gone that they are pretty expensive.

  Had difficult time price matching. Asked manager why I could not use the price on my phone. He said it may be an internet price even though it was the same flyer as the printed one. Then he tried to put another barrier to doing price matching saying they had to have item on stock. I had explained that they had 2 in stock but could not find them(Walmart). Finally got through check out. Other staff was very sympathetic through ordeal.

  To sum it up they Could be sent me to call a tow truck and had me tow it over & charged me to change the tire in their shop but instead they went way out of their way to help me. I wasn't even a customer so that says a lot!
